Comment: Hematite inclusions are the coloring agents that turn quartz opaque red. This specimen has red, brillianlt lustrous quartz crystals perched on matrix. The crystals are sharp, and undamaged as fas as I can see, A really good specimen! Eisenkiesel is a quartz variety that is turned opaque red with hematite inclusions.
