Comment: Found by the Meteorite Men on their TV Show! Spent and hour chatting with Geoff Notkin and Steve Steve Arnold Originally found in 1861. Type is Mesosiderite A1. Mean composition of the metal is 8.8% Ni, 9.6ppm Ga, 42.8% Ge, 2.2% Ir. From Catalogue of Meteorites (2000). The photo does not show that the slice is polished.
